Why Washing Matters
Cotton gloves that come into contact with creams and skin need regular washing to stay hygienic. Clean gloves also last longer and stay soft.
Washing Instructions
- Wash on a gentle or delicate cycle in cool or warm water
- Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent
- Do not use fabric softener, as it can reduce absorbency
- Wash gloves separately or with similar light-coloured items
Drying
Air dry your cotton gloves rather than using a tumble dryer. Lay them flat or hang them to dry. This helps preserve the shape and softness of the cotton.
How Often to Wash
Wash after each use when treating eczema or using medicated creams. For general moisturising, every 2–3 wears is usually sufficient. Having multiple pairs makes it easier to rotate and always have clean gloves ready.
